Since I have been less than frequent for posting recently I figure that the only appropriate way to start this Blogmas off right, would be to do a mini recap. What have we been up to recently? Wow, thank you so much for asking!
In the most recent of weeks we haven't been getting outside much by ways of hiking or skiing, but we have been going on runs and two major walks in support of my coworker who was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, and another coworker who has been battling Leukemia for a very very long time. It was amazing to see how my company rallied together for the pancreatic cancer walk, and continues to come together for the LLS (Leukemia and Lymphoma Society) annual fundraisers.
We got out on one camping trip after a soccer game in the Olympic National Park and had intentions of hiking the next morning, but we really loathe hiking in the fog and rain and we got weathered out. We did, however, figure out how to play Rumi with uno cards, and explored a little campground that was closed and the Dungeness River.
We transformed into "Devin, the Australian Lifeguard" and a butterfly for an epic halloween party.
I went to visit Mister Cheeks! (And Samuel, Sarah, Christopher, and my mom and Dad)
More on this later though because I got some cute little videos of the whole trip.
Happy Blogmas Day 1! (ALSO- Public Service Announcement: Blogmas will be less frequent than every day this year... Shooting for every OTHER day.)
