A Tromp Through The Woods (Blogmas Day 20)

I really wish this could be titled "Over the river and through the woods, to Grannies house we go" . I'm sure soon I can post about such an adventure (there seems to be a light at the end of the tunnel coming into view with the vaccine on the move!)

Anyway... it is an aptly named blog because that is just what we did today! Rich said "hey darlin', want to go for a drive and see if we can find some snow to tromp around in?" And I said "well sure!" and hopped in the 4runner.

We didn't really know where we were headed, Rich just assured me that we would drive East until it wasn't raining anymore. This plan took us just east of Snoqualmie Pass and on a little hike up the Easton Ridge area. There wasn't actually a ton of snow - just enough to get a little slippery and gale force winds at the top, which was rather exciting (and a chance for Rich to see some real trees). I brought some Carmel corn to snack on, but thought twice about my precious popped kernels before bringing them out at the top for fear they might blow away.

Here are photos of today's wander:

Happy Blogmas, all!
